Body Harmony

Outdoor Dru Yoga Krkonoše

We are the first Dru Yoga in the Czech Republic (born 1978 at Bangor University in Wales). We practice this style of Yoga in one of the most beautiful places in the Krkonoše Mountains. We relax and stretch our bodies to the rhythm of the rustling forest, the bubbling brook, and in all weather conditions.

What does ‘Dru’ mean?

Dru comes from the Sanskrit word dhruva, which refers to the stillness that can be experienced in Dru Yoga and Dru meditation.
In this state, we can remain centered amidst everything that is happening around us, seeing and acting from a place of clarity and inner peace.

How does Dru Yoga differ from other types of Yoga?

It is a unique combination of activation, energy block release sequences, asanas, and relaxation,
which together create a wonderful sense of well-being. People come to Dru Yoga classes because they want to enjoy beautiful, flowing sequences that adapt to everyone.

Naturopathic Nutritional Counseling

A journey towards lifelong health prevention through individualized nutrition focused on the whole person.

Almost daily, the media offers advice on what to eat and what not to eat (and drink), and most of it is confusing and contradictory. The popularity of celebrity chefs and fine dining continues to grow, as do food fads and quick-fix diets. Food is a topic close to everyone’s heart (and stomach!), and more and more people are realizing that what you eat can affect your short-term and long-term health.

Naturopathic nutrition seeks to uncover and address the root cause of illness, rather than merely treating symptoms, as is often the case with conventional medicine. Many people have found that improving a poor diet to alleviate one symptom can often lead to additional health benefits, such as increased energy levels, improved skin, better sleep, and a host of other advantages.

At our clinic, we will advise you on what to eat and how to adjust your diet to maintain or restore optimal health. Nutritional knowledge and informed food choices can help you achieve optimal health throughout your life.

Buteyko Breathing Therapy

Promoting proper breathing, which positively impacts asthma, allergies, shortness of breath, insomnia, snoring, as well as many other health issues.

The Buteyko Method, named after Dr. Konstantin Buteyko, consists of a series of breathing exercises and guidelines specifically designed to reduce excessive breathing (clinically known as “chronic hyperventilation”).

The simple fact is that many people over-breathe, which alters the natural gas levels in the blood, reduces oxygen delivery to tissues and organs, and causes the constriction of smooth muscles surrounding blood vessels and airways. This can lead to a range of health problems.

Bringing breathing volume back to normal and switching from mouth breathing to nasal breathing helps alleviate such health problems.

Body stream – Dry CO

Why CO?

When we inhale, we take in oxygen, which is used for efficient energy (ATP) production. In this energy production process, called metabolism, our body also produces heat, water, and carbon dioxide. Excess carbon dioxide is exhaled. However, if we are stressed, our breathing quickens, and we exhale too much CO. If we are inactive, our metabolism slows down, and less CO is produced. The combination of these two, stress and inactivity, has a dual negative effect, leading to lower levels of carbon dioxide in our body. Given that carbon dioxide has many important properties in our body, we may experience health problems when CO levels drop. One of the effects of CO is that it creates vasodilation, which allows greater blood flow to cells, which in turn means increased oxygen delivery and better removal of waste products. The heart will have to work less hard to pump blood through your circulatory system, and this activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which creates a state of relaxation throughout the body.

CO Carbonic Dry Bath

A parasympathetic deluxe experience.
Detox & Relax – Perfect blood circulation for the skin, muscles, all organs, and the brain.
BodyStream is a system designed to help bathe the entire body (up to the neck) in gaseous carbon dioxide. Once you are in the BodyStream suit, all air is first pumped out, and then the suit is filled with 100 % carbon dioxide. The CO is then absorbed through the skin, which opens the blood vessels. The entire procedure lasts approximately 30 minutes, during which the body relaxes during a four-stage guided relaxation, and it often happens that people fall asleep in the BodyStream. It’s not only amazing relaxation but also super fun.

Bach Flower Essences

Restoring balance between mind and body. Eliminating negative emotions, such as fear, anxiety, hatred, and indecision, which disturb the overall balance of one’s being. Bach Flower Therapy comprises 38 essences, which were discovered in the 1920s and 1930s by Dr. Edward Bach, a renowned bacteriologist, physician, and pathologist. Each essence is associated with a fundamental human emotion. Mimulus, for example, is for situations where we experience anxiety or fear about something specific. Taking the remedy helps us overcome fear and face it with courage. The essences are in liquid form, so you can mix together the essences you need to help balance your current emotional situation. Just like Dr. Bach, we believe that healing on an emotional level has beneficial effects on other levels. A healthy emotional life and a balanced personality will enable your body to find its own natural state of health.

Lifestyle by Blood Type

The proven method by Dr. D’Adamo

Blood Type and Your Health

Do you think knowing your blood type is only important in case of a transfusion? Think again! Research shows that your blood type is a key genetic factor that influences many areas of health and well-being.

Throughout your life, you’ve probably noticed that some people tend to lose weight more easily, while for others, their weight is a constant struggle. Or perhaps you’ve wondered why some people are plagued by chronic illnesses, while others remain healthy and vital well into old age. Quite simply, the answer lies in your blood type.

Knowing your blood type is an important tool for understanding how your body reacts to food, your susceptibility to diseases, your natural response to stress, and much more. A single drop of blood contains a biochemical makeup as unique as your fingerprint.

A Universal Approach to Nutrition Doesn’t Work
Diet fads come and go, but the facts are clear: not everyone has the same basic nutritional needs. We all know someone who is a strict vegetarian and thrives on that diet, while others swear by Atkins or similar low-carb plans. Dr. D’Adamo discovered that our nutritional needs can be determined by your blood type.
